IERE RIDE is currently in a pre-launch and pre-registration phase. This Privacy Policy explains how information provided by riders, drivers and website visitors is collected, used, stored and protected. We are committed to handling your information with care. This policy applies to the IERE RIDE website, pre-registration forms and related services.

What information may be collected

Depending on how you interact with IERE RIDE, we may collect: full name, email address, telephone number, location information including pickup and destination addresses, trip-related information, driver identification and verification information, vehicle information, uploaded documents and photographs including profile safety selfies, device and technical information, communications with IERE RIDE, safety reports, and support enquiries. Rider pre-registration collects name, email, mobile number, country or region and preferred currency display. Driver pre-registration collects name, email, phone, mobile number, country or region, location within Trinidad and Tobago, vehicle type and any additional message provided.

Why we collect and how we use your information

Information may be collected to: process and manage rider pre-registration and driver applications, communicate launch updates, offer information and platform news, review driver information for onboarding and verification purposes, facilitate ride matching and service delivery when the platform becomes publicly available, share relevant trip and profile information between matched riders and drivers where required to provide the ride service, maintain safety and security including through IERE Shield trip monitoring features, respond to enquiries and support requests, and improve the IERE RIDE platform and experience. Driver information including identification, licence, vehicle and documentation may be reviewed as part of the onboarding and verification process. Certain trip and profile information may be shared between matched riders and drivers to enable the ride service.

How information is stored and protected

IERE RIDE takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve enquiries and support platform operations. Service providers may process information on our behalf where required for website hosting, form processing and communications. Specific service providers are not confirmed and may change as the platform develops.

Your privacy rights and updates to this policy

You may contact us to request access to the information held about you, ask for corrections, request deletion of your information or withdraw consent where applicable.
