Built around our people, our roads and our reality, IERE RIDE is more than a ride-booking app. It is a locally rooted movement designed to create opportunity for Drivers, give Riders greater choice and accountability, and prove that Caribbean technology can move Caribbean people forward. To celebrate 64 years of Trinidad and Tobago's independence, eligible verified founding Riders may receive up to TT$64 in promotional ride credit toward their first qualifying completed IERE RIDE trip. That is approximately US$9.67 at the campaign reference rate. If the qualifying fare is TT$64 or less, the eligible Rider may pay TT$0. If the fare is more than TT$64, the Rider pays only the remaining balance. IERE RIDE is building a referral program that allows eligible Riders and Drivers to earn real rewards by introducing verified people to the platform. You are helping build a trusted Caribbean mobility network — and earning when verified participation turns into real movement. Referral rewards are not guaranteed. At midnight on 31 August 1962, Trinidad and Tobago entered a new chapter of self-determination. That moment carried a responsibility: to build, create and move forward for ourselves. IERE RIDE was born from that same belief. The belief that Caribbean people can build the systems shaping our daily lives. The belief that Drivers deserve transparent opportunity, Riders deserve clearer information and greater accountability, and technology should understand our roads, communities and culture. IERE is the ancestral name associated with Trinidad — the Land of the Hummingbird. The hummingbird is swift, resilient and always moving with purpose. That is the spirit of IERE RIDE. Movement with identity. Movement with accountability. Movement with opportunity. Movement with peace.
SIMPLE, TRANSPARENT PAYMENTS
IERE RIDE is developing a payment experience based on clear TT$ fares and digital trip records. CASH: Cash-payment support is being tested for qualifying rides. Drivers confirm when cash is received, and completed trips may generate an IERE RIDE receipt. IERE RIDE CREDIT: Eligible promotions, refunds, referrals and Rider Miles redemptions may provide Ride Credit. Ride Credit is not cash and remains subject to programme rules. CARD PAYMENTS: Card payments will only be activated after secure merchant processing, authentication, settlement and refund systems complete testing and approval. IERE RIDE will never request card numbers, CVV codes, PINs or banking passwords through ordinary support forms, social media or chat. Payment options may vary at launch. Available methods and the final amount will be shown before confirmation where supported.
LAUNCH COVERAGE
IERE RIDE is preparing an initial service for Trinidad and Tobago. Availability may depend on: Driver availability, pickup and destination area, operating hours, ride category, road and weather conditions, and testing and operational readiness. Initial service areas, hours and ride categories will be announced through official IERE RIDE channels. Pre-registration does not guarantee immediate service in every area.
DRIVER APPROVAL IS A PROCESS
Driver applicants may be asked to provide: national ID or passport, valid Trinidad and Tobago Driver's Permit, relevant Driver licensing information, vehicle ownership or registration information, suitable motor insurance evidence, vehicle make, model, year, colour and registration plate, clear exterior and interior vehicle photographs, a current Driver safety selfie, and additional supporting information where required. Automated tools may help identify missing, expired, unclear or inconsistent information. Final IERE RIDE platform approval requires authorised human review. IERE RIDE approval does not replace licences, permits, insurance, registration, inspection or certification required by the appropriate Trinidad and Tobago authority. Submitting an application or documents does not guarantee approval.
CURRENT APP STATUS
The IERE RIDE app is in active internal testing. Current testing includes: registration and authentication, pickup and destination selection, TT$ fare estimates, Rider-to-Driver request delivery, incoming Driver alerts, Driver acceptance, arrival, trip start and completion, cash-payment confirmation, digital receipts, Driver earnings and commission records, notifications, verification submissions, and Safety Hub tools. Not every website feature will necessarily be included in the first public release. The Android app is in active internal testing.

IERE RIDE stands against violence, intimidation, harassment, exploitation and the misuse of transportation to harm others. Our role is not to replace law enforcement or emergency services. They cannot guarantee that an incident will be detected or prevented. IERE RIDE is not an emergency service, and emergency services are not automatically contacted unless a specific supported feature expressly states otherwise.

Drivers can review: completed-trip fares, estimated Driver earnings, platform commission, confirmed cash payments, commission amounts due, commission credits, submitted payment proofs, receipts and history. Figures remain subject to trip validation, disputes, refunds, promotions and platform terms.

JOIN THE FOUNDING IERE COMMUNITY
FOUNDING RIDERS — Eligible pre-registered founding riders may receive the ride fare on their first qualifying IERE RIDE trip free when public booking opens. The offer applies only to an eligible first qualifying trip, may have a maximum fare value, and cannot be exchanged for cash. FOUNDING DRIVERS — Eligible approved founding drivers may receive zero IERE platform commission on their first qualifying completed trip. Standard platform commission terms may apply thereafter. YOUR FIRST QUALIFYING TRIP. ZERO IERE COMMISSION.
Eligible approved founding drivers may receive zero IERE platform commission on their first qualifying completed trip. Under the planned standard platform model after that trip: Driver share 90%, IERE platform share 10%. Taxes, payment-processing charges, refunds, promotions and adjustments may apply separately. Driver approval and promotion eligibility are not guaranteed.
Every ride can move you closer to the next one
Eligible riders may earn Rider Miles through qualifying trips, spending, referrals, promotions or approved programme activities. Rider Miles are promotional loyalty points, are not cash, may have expiry or redemption limits, may be exchanged only for approved IERE rewards or Ride Credit, and cannot be sold or transferred unless expressly permitted. Under the planned model, 100 Rider Miles = TT$10 in eligible ride credit. Final programme rules and eligibility may apply at launch.
