IERE Shield
IERE Shield is being designed for live trip awareness. It is being developed to help surface unusual trip conditions such as prolonged stops, unexpected route changes, GPS signal loss or excessive trip duration during supported trips.
Ride Handshake
A private 4-digit pickup verification code that helps confirm the right rider is matched with the right driver and vehicle before the trip begins.
Rider Miles
PLANNED RIDER MILES MODEL — Every completed eligible ride can earn Rider Miles. Under the currently planned model, 100 Rider Miles = TT$10 in eligible ride credit. Final programme rules and eligibility may apply at launch.

SAFETY IS A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY
Safety is a shared responsibility involving Riders, Drivers, IERE RIDE, communities and the appropriate public authorities. IERE RIDE is developing tools that support awareness, communication, identity checks, trip records and incident reporting. These tools do not guarantee that an incident will be detected or prevented. IERE RIDE is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, users should contact the appropriate Trinidad and Tobago emergency service directly. RIDE HANDSHAKE Ride Handshake helps Riders and Drivers confirm that they are connected to the correct trip. After a Driver accepts: the Rider receives a private trip code, the Driver enters or verifies the code, the trip cannot begin until the code is confirmed where enabled, and attempts may be limited and time-sensitive. Users should also verify the Driver, vehicle and registration information displayed in the app. IERE SHIELD IERE Shield is an awareness system designed to support trip monitoring. It may identify or record: route deviation, prolonged stops, GPS interruption, excessive trip duration, and safety check-in requests. IERE Shield does not automatically contact police, emergency services or trusted contacts unless a supported feature clearly states otherwise. RIDE CIRCLE AND TRIP SHARING Riders may choose to share supported trip details with trusted contacts. Sharing is optional, activated by the Rider, time-limited where supported and revocable. IERE RIDE does not automatically share trips without user action. DRIVER VERIFICATION Driver applicants may be required to provide: National ID or passport, Trinidad and Tobago Driver's Permit, relevant Driver licence or badge information, vehicle registration or ownership documents, motor insurance evidence, fitness or inspection documents where required, vehicle photographs, Driver safety selfie, and Certificate of Character or supporting background documents where required. Automated tools may assist with completeness checks. Final IERE RIDE platform approval requires authorised human review. IERE RIDE approval does not replace any licence, permit, insurance, inspection, registration or certification required by law. IN-CAR CAMERAS Where Drivers independently use lawful in-car recording equipment: Riders should be informed where required, recording must comply with applicable privacy laws, IERE RIDE does not claim ownership or automatic access to independently recorded footage, and recordings may be relevant to disputes, complaints or lawful investigations. Do not claim universal camera coverage unless an official verified programme exists. INCIDENT REPORTING Users may report: harassment, violence or threats, unsafe driving, discrimination, payment disputes, lost property, vehicle concerns, identity concerns, accidents, and other trip-related issues. Serious concerns may result in investigation, restrictions or suspension. CODE OF CONDUCT IERE RIDE has zero tolerance for: violence, harassment, threats, discrimination, fraud, impaired or dangerous driving, identity misuse, unauthorised account sharing, and deliberate safety interference.
